Coco Logs | Coir Logs

Coir logs or Coco Logs, also known as coconut fiber rolls, are biodegradable erosion control products made from the husk fibers of coconuts. These logs have various environmental and practical applications due to their natural properties and ability to promote vegetation growth.

PEARL COCO LOGS are made from 100% natural coir fiber and covered by strong coir nettings. They are ideal selection for stream bank and shoreline stabilization. Coir fiber logs protect shorelines by reducing wave energy and safely maintaining lakeshore behind them. The coconut fiber in the logs provides a medium for the effective establishment of aquatic vegetation and over time, they will blend naturally into the aquatic environment. Numerous plants can be planted in logs and thereby creating a pleasing natural method of shore line protection.

COCO LOGS are used along streams of running water to protect against widening and soil erosion. The Coir Logs are made up of coir fiber or rolled up coir pads encased in coir nets. Coco Logs are widely used on Stream Banks, Sea Shores and Lake Shores for controlling the Sand Slide and provide protection against scour.

Coco Logs are also used in Desert Areas for controlling Sand Overcomes. In Shoreline/Stream Channel Applications, the Coco Logs are Resistant to the Forces of Water.

Coco Logs work as a brake on waves and reduces the impact of erosion. If the stream bed is lined with erosion control blankets and edged with Erosion Control Logs this helps keep the running water in check and also allows nature to take root in the form of algae etc.

Overall, coir logs are versatile, environmentally friendly solutions for a variety of erosion control, stabilization, and revegetation projects. Their natural properties make them suitable for use in both rural and urban settings, promoting sustainable land and water management practices.
